ANYONE INTERESTED IN A DAY OUT TO WALTON? The Friends of St Mary's are thinking about organizing a day out to Walton-on-the-Naze on Saturday 19th July. But is anyone interested in going? The event, costs, timing etc. will all depend on demand. So, if you're interested, please tell Pam Cheal (872577).

Election of Churchwardens at St Mary's. There will be a brief extraordinary Vestry Meeting following the 10.30am Service at St Mary's on the 8th June so that Churchwardens may be elected for Dunmow. I have received a Nomination for Sydney Smith and invite other Nominations to be submitted. The appropriate Forms are available at the back of church. Completed Forms should be given to David Ainge before the start of the Vestry Meeting.
CONTAINER TO AFRICA. Thanks to the energetic work of the chain gang yesterday, a 20 foot Container left the Faith in Action store bound for Africa. 600+ apple boxes full of clothes, bedding, shoes, candles and all sorts of other goodies are on their way to the villages in the southern part of Malawi.
