COUNTESS OF WARWICK SHOW. A huge Thank You to everyone involved. An amazing effort by an army of people meant that we sold all the cakes we were given. The last cake was sold at 5pm on the Monday - so we had enough to fill the duration of the Show. St Mary's church funds, after we have paid all our bills, have benefited by about £2,500. Brilliant. Well done. Thank you.
PARTY WITH A DIFFERENCE - TODAY 3.30PM - 5.30PM. Families who have had children baptised in the last year will be gathering in St Mary's church this afternoon for a child-friendly, puppet-led Service followed by tea & games in the Vicarage garden. Please pray for a safe and enjoyable time, and that everyone who has said they're coming will actual come. Thank you.
RIDE & STRIDE. This year's Friends of Essex Churches Sponsored Ride & Stride takes place on Saturday September 12th.
