LIGHT FANTASTIC PARTY. On Saturday 31st October, children of Primary School-age will be welcome at the extra-special Light Fantastic Children's Activity Afternoon at the church hall at St Anne Line's Catholic Church, Mill Lane. The music, drama, crafts, games, refreshments, stories, etc., etc. begins at 2pm. Admission is by ticket - so please contact Jo Hargrave (872995) for all the information you need.
QUIZ NIGHT. The folk at St Anne Line's Church, Mill Lane are holding a Quiz Night on Friday 23rd October and the funds raised will be given to Dunmow Christian Care. Further details are available from Margaret Joyce on 872474.
MEMORIAL SERVICE AT ST MARY'S. Sunday, 1st November at 3pm. For those at St Mary's and St Andrew's who have been bereaved to remember those who have died recently, a service of remembrance and thanksgiving. Details are available in both of our churches, or by telephone from Shirley Walker (872310).
FISH & CHIP SUPPER, ST MARY'S ROOM, CHURCH END, 13TH NOVEMBER: 7.30PM FOR 8.00PM. This annual social evening arranged by The Friends of St Mary's remains one of the most popular in the year's programme. The combination of lively conversation, local food, and DIY sing-a-long entertainment is a winning formula. Tickets, costing £5.00 each, are available from David & Pat Rose (873269).
