MEMORIAL SERVICE AT ST MARY'S. Today at 3pm. For those at St Mary's and St Andrew's who have been bereaved to remember those who have died recently, a service of remembrance and thanksgiving. Details are available in both of our churches, or by telephone from Shirley Walker (872310).
FAIRTRADE. We are looking for someone who is able to organise/run the Fairtrade stall, which we have in church about once a month. If anyone is interested in taking this on, please contact Anna Beecroft 878044 for all the relevant details.

CELEBRATION SERVICE. On Sunday 29th November the Rev. Peter Street reaches his 50th Anniversary of Ordination. The 6pm Service will be an enormous Celebration with his family, church, town and county well represented. As members of the congregations where he has often ministered, you are all invited to come.
FAITH IN ACTION. Help is very much needed from anyone able-bodied who can help to transfer 600+ Faith in Action apple boxes from a store on to a Container-on-the-back-of-a-lorry (before going on to Malawi) on the 6th November. Details are available from Jay.
FISH & CHIP SUPPER, ST MARY'S ROOM, CHURCH END, 13TH NOVEMBER: 7.30PM FOR 8.00PM. This annual social evening arranged by The Friends of St Mary's remains one of the most popular in the year's programme. The combination of lively conversation, local food, and DIY sing-a-long entertainment is a winning formula. Tickets, costing £5.00 each, are available from David & Pat Rose (873269).
